Patrick N. Thomson brings more than 20 years of experience, in both public and private accounting, to his role as Certified Public Accountant and founding Partner at Thomson & Paquette, P.C. Patrick was born and raised in Marquette, MI, and received his B.S. in Accounting from Northern Michigan University in 1994 and his Michigan CPA license in 2001. Patrick is also a 2005 graduate of the Lake Superior Leadership Academy, and a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
Patrick is dedicated to helping our clients achieve business success through sound financial practices. His main focal point is serving the non-profit community with auditing and attestation services, taking the lead on all our audit engagements. Patrick has experience in many facets of accounting and also provides business and individuals with consulting, statement preparation, and tax preparation services.
Throughout his professional career, Patrick has served as President and Secretary of the Marquette West Rotary Club and as a YMCA board member. He currently serves as the Marquette West Rotary Harbor Fest Entertainment Chairman, Treasurer of the Negaunee Little League and Assistant JV Coach for the Negaunee High School girl’s fast-pitch softball team.
Patricks’ hobbies include deer hunting, coaching softball, music and exercising.
